Brief Demonstration of Intelliguard® Kit and Tray Management System

This is our Intelliguard® Kit and Tray management system. What it does is it uses RFID to help automate the process of restocking kits, trays and tackle boxes in hospital pharmacies. You can see that each medication has a small RFID tag attached to each vial. This is a standard anesthesia tray that most hospitals will see coming throughout their pharmacy multiple times a day. This just came back from a case. What the technician would do is they would log into the system, they'd hit 'restock tray', put the tray into the scanning station and hit scan. Once they hit scan the system is going to process what's missing, anything that's recalled, anything that's expired within this scanning station itself.

Here you can see that there are 4 items that are missing from this anesthesia tray. The technician would restock the tray, and then press 'rescan' to make sure that the stock pulled and replaced in the tray is the correct medication, it's the correct dose, it's also not expired or recalled.

This screen is a reminder to attach ancillary labels to the appropriate medication. On the right hand side here you can see that green means go, which means that this tray is now fully stocked and ready to be approved by a pharmacist.

On the left hand side you'll see your first medication to expire and then the technician would just press “Finalize For Approval”. In this instance we're showing a technician pharmacist workflow but that workflow could change depending on the hospital pharmacy to technician approving, or technician only.
